Ann's Orbit Logistics ("AOL", "we", "us"), registered in Accra, Ghana, operates an e-commerce platform for ready-stock and procurement-sourced products. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

Identity data: full name
Contact data: email address, phone number, delivery address
Payment data: transaction references processed via Hubtel (we do not store card numbers)
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies
Order data: purchase history, procurement requests, shipping preferences
Communication data: messages sent through our support channels

2. How We Use Your Data

We process personal data on these legal bases:

Contract performance: fulfilling orders, processing payments, arranging shipping
Consent: sending marketing communications (you may withdraw at any time)
Legal obligation: KYC checks, tax records, fraud prevention
Legitimate interest: improving our services, analytics, customer support

3. Data Sharing & Transfers

We share data only where necessary for service delivery:

Hubtel: payment processing (name, email, phone, transaction amount). Hubtel operates in Ghana; your data may be transferred cross-border.
Shipping partners: name, phone, and delivery address for order fulfilment
Suppliers in China: order specifications only (no personal data shared)

Cross-border transfers are conducted with appropriate safeguards as required under Act 843 and the Nigeria NDPA 2023.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant Data Protection Authority without undue delay.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

7. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted within 90 days of account closure
Transaction records: retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations
Support communications: retained for 2 years after resolution
Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent

8. Children's Data

Our platform is open to all users. However, if a user is under 18 years of age, we require that they have parental or guardian consent before creating an account or placing an order.
